The web can be a brutal, savage spot most days, and NBA fans don't have to look a lot farther than Saturday night's transmission between the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards.
Bulls in depth broadcaster Adam Amin and variety pundit Stacey Ruler succumbed to a phony report that previous Bulls star, and flow Memphis Grizzlies hold, Derrick Rose, was resigning from the NBA after 15 seasons.
Lord brought the "report" up from the transmission, that turned out to be a phony record mimicking ESPN NBA columnist Adrian Wojnarowski.
"It is out on the web. Adrian Wojnarowski detailing that Derrick Rose is resigning after 15 seasons," Lord said.
"What about that?" Amin answered.
While the 35-year-old Rose is absolutely nearer to the furthest limit of his vocation than the start, there is no reality to him resigning from the NBA in the season.
Maybe this is a report to recognize later on, yet for the time being, Rose is as yet a functioning player for the Grizzlies, and isn't resigning.
